For five generations the Tilse family has grown fruit for the local, regional and at one stage the international market.

Perhaps the secret to their succulent apples is the pure mountain stream from the Barrington Tops that feeds the fruit.

Or maybe the secret to the Tilse’s success is the personalised service they offer, selling direct to the public from their coolroom and packing shed in Scone.

While they are replacing some of the older trees with new ones, many of the original trees from 50 years ago are still bearing fruit.
